Amy & Rogers Epic Detour
Amy Curry’s year has not been going her way. Her mother has decided to move. Amy has to somehow get their car from California to the East Coast. But there is one slight problem. Amy hasn’t gotten behind the wheel of any car since her father’s death.
Enter Roger, the son of a family friend, who coincidently has to visit his dad on the East Coast. But Roger’s plans include a more “scenic” route.
Amy and Roger take many detours, some which turn out good, some not so good. Throughout their many detours, they make new friends, face their fears and have fun.
By the end of the trip, Amy starts to realise that sometimes you have to get lost to find your way home.
Amy & Rogers Epic Detour is very well written and full of emotion. You may find there is some tears, a few laughs and lots of adventure.
This book is a great summer read, that will make you smile and wanting more. i would rate it 4/5 stars. i suggest you give it a go and see if my rating is adequate, if the story is better or worse.
