I’m disappointed to say that I didn’t finish this book. I bought it because it sounded good, and also, I liked the cover. But I started reading it and just couldn’t get in to it. I literally only read up to chapter 16, which is only about 100 pages.

There is just some books that I cant get into at all, and it disappoints me but also tells me that this isn’t my kind of book at the same time, so it has good and bad outcomes at the same time.

I am not in anyway disrespecting the author, Kat Spears, or any of her books, just writing a review on the book and my opinion on it. If this offends anyone, I am truly sorry.

It isn’t my type of book, but it might be yours!

‘When Jason Marshall’s younger sister passes away, he knows he can count on his three best friends and soccer teammates – Mario, Jordie, and Chick – to be there for him. With a grief crippled mother and a father who’s not in the picture, he needs them more than ever. But when Mario starts hanging out with a rough group of friends and Jordie finally lands the girl of his dreams, Jason is left to fend for himself while maintaining a strained relationship with troubled and quiet Chick.

Then Jason meets Raine, a girl he thinks is out of his league but who sees him for everything he wants to be, and he finds himself pulled between building a healthy and stable relationship with a girl he might be falling in love with, grieving for his sister, and trying to hold on to the friendships he has always relied on.’

If you think this may interest you or want to check it out, you can do so here! I hope you enjoyed my review, even though it wasn’t telling you how amazing it was.

Gone Reading Discount

Recently I asked the lovely team at if they sent out any of their products for reviewing purposes. They replied and told me that they do sometimes, but not internationally, due to high shipping costs. Me being here in Australia and them being over in the US meant that they were unable to send me any of their products. I’ll be honest, it was a little disappointing but I understand because shipping from here to the US is costly, so would it be from there to here.

Seeing as they couldn’t send me anything, they offered to give me a discount coupon/code to share with my followers and fellow booklovers. (I will add the code and a link to the website at the bottom of this post.) So of course I agreed, as I love sharing products with you guys and introducing you to new companies and brands thst you may not have heard of before. I don’t know how long this discpunt is valid for, as I wasnt told, but if you want to use it, feel free, because you guys are the reason I was given a discount code and the reason for me writing these posts.

Also thanks to Brad from the GoneReading team, with whom I corresponded. And on a last note, enjoy!!
